Dr. Arcell Vickers Sr.
Dr. Arcell Vickers Sr. has served as the Senior Pastor of Greater Harvest Church in the East New York section of Brooklyn for thirty – five years. He is a dedicated committed servant of the Lord who believes in holiness and loves God and His people. Dr. Vickers Sr. was born in De Ridder, Louisiana to the late Robert and Barbara Vickers. He and his twin brother are out of seven siblings.
Dr. Vickers Sr. has served in various areas of ministry; from an usher, trustee, elder, superintendent and administrative assistant to the bishop. In June of Nineteen Eighty Four, he was installed as pastor of Mason Temple Church of God in Christ. Years later the Lord spoke and gave him a new name for the church “Greater Harvest.” He has given his entire life over to ministry!
Dr. Vickers Sr. is married to the lovely Dr. Marion Vickers (Supervisor Emeritus in the Church of God in Christ,) a proud father of Pastor Arcell Vickers and Evang. Sheilah Vickers, a doting grandfather of five and a loving great grandfather of five.

Dr. Marion Vickers
Dr. Marion Viola Jefferson Vickers will tell you, that she is not called to be pastor but she definitely deserves honorable mention. She has served as assistant to the pastor at Mason Temple Church of God in Christ.in Brooklyn, N.Y. for over thirty years. She has been called to a life of prayer and believes in the power of the Holy Spirit. Mother Vickers was born in Southampton, New York to the late William II and Lillie Jefferson. She is the baby girl out of five siblings.
In November of the year Two Thousand, Dr. Marion Vickers was consecrated as Jurisdictional Supervisor of the Women’s Department, of Eastern New York diocese of the Church of God in Christ. She served the International Women’s Department as Vice President of the National Emergency Fund. In the year Two Thousand and Eleven, Mother Vickers was appointed to the Advisory Board in the International Women’s Department of the Church of God in Christ. She is now Supervisor Emeritus and often states that the greatest accolade given to her is to be called a Servant of God.

Dr. Marion Vickers is the loving wife of Dr. Superintendent Arcell Vickers, Sr. and mother to Pastor Arcell Vickers and Evang. Sheilah Vickers. Superintendent Arcell & Mother Marion Vickers are both the proud grandparents and great grandparents.
